The Department of Labor (DOL) has released statistics regarding the Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) Program and the Labor Condition Application (LCA) Program for the first and second quarters of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021.
The Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) has released a comprehensive set of public disclosure data (through the second quarter of fiscal year 2021) drawn from employer applications requesting determinations and labor certifications for the PERM and LCA (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3).
The public disclosure files include all final determinations OFLC issued for these programs during the October 1, 2020, through March 31, 2021, reporting period of fiscal year 2021. OFLC has also released selected program statistics for the second quarter of fiscal year 2021 for the PERM, H-1B, H-1B1 and E-3 programs.
In carrying out its responsibility for the processing of prevailing wage, labor certification, and labor attestation applications, the Office of Foreign Labor Certification generates an extensive amount of program data that is useful to a wide range of external stakeholders, including Congress, researchers, media organizations, industry associations, worker advocacy organizations, and the general public. As part of the U.S. Department of Labor’s commitment to supporting the goals of an open and transparent government, the OFCL provide easy access to employment-based immigration data organized in three main categories:
- Selected statistics providing cumulative quarterly data by major immigration program;
- Cumulative quarterly and fiscal year releases of program disclosure data; and
- Historical fiscal year annual program and performance report information.
