Inheritance and donations in the U.S: Learn about which cases incur taxes

The Tax return season in the United States, which started on the 12th of February, is expected to end on the 15th of April.  During this period it is very common for questions arise regarding the situations where taxes are levied on the assets of expatriates living in the USA, especially in cases of receiving donations and inheritances.

With this in mind, our partner David Tobon, from Becker Glynn, has built an informational diagram in order to better illustrate in which cases donations and inheritances destined to foreigners are taxed by the American tax authorities.
